Pro Makeup Tip – The 1st tip in becoming an expert in applying organic gel liner is to use a small amount on the brush. That makes it easier to control. The 2nd most important tip is using the right brush for your hand. For some it’s a small pointed tip brush. For others it’s an angled brush. Remember to always use vegan and cruelty free brushes. The 3rd most important tip is to not go for a perfect line on your first try.
I can tell you that these are the main points of frustration for most. Once you take these into consideration, you’ll be more prepared to be ready to jump in and perfect your technique. No one is born with a steady hand, so for some it’s a great beginner’s technique to draw dots or dashes along your top lash line and then connect them. You can gently perfect the line from there. If you are feeling sassy, go ahead and wing it out on the ends.
Organic Gel Liner
That may take some getting used to for some, but it’s easy once you get used to how easy the organic gel eyeliner is to control. For most, following along your lash line will make you feel like a pro in no time. Once you get the line you like, you can add more to create a thicker dramatic effect. One trick that I love to do is called “tight lining”. This is where you take a small amount of the the gel liner and line under the base of the eyelashes.
This creates a fuller lash effect. This is great for those that like a very natural everyday look because there is no liner visible on the top lashes. Once you’re done with your makeup, if you find that you’ve smudged a little eyeliner, it’s easy to clean up with some eye makeup remover on a sponge or a q-tip. If you are touching up your makeup in the middle of the day, you can always freshen up your eye area with some concealer and you’ll look like you just started the day!
This organic gel liner is great for a retro cat eye or winged look. It can also accentuate a dark smokey look. Meow.
